Above is a textile test swatch I created with pro-reactive dyes and silk screening technique. My goal was to create the feeling of water. This swatch was the starting point for a scenic dress created for a runway show. The eight panel engineered print began on crisp white crepe de chine and ended up an entire ecosystem scene of birds on a Mill Valley marsh.
