Happy Friday, everyone!
Another week, another round of our Friday Favorites.
This week was especially magical as Valentine’s Day and President’s Day were back to back. I hope you got to celebrate both holidays by surrounding yourself with those you love.
Our Favorites this week are split down the middle between funny, silly videos and productive, self-help articles.
- The Ellen Degeneres Show aired what might be one of the funniest episodes yesterday, all thanks to Adele. The comedian-singer duo flawlessly pulled off a prank at a Jamba Juice. Ellen guided Adele via earpiece to place ridiculous orders to the staff and to carry out strange behavior. This video alone will make your day.
- Golden State Warrior player Harrison Barnes plays the saxophone -- who knew! This hidden talent of his is occasionally showcased live at Madrone Art Bar in San Francisco when he’s not shooting hoops. Have a look at his musical talent.
- Don’t lag on completing your New Years resolutions; instead, read this article by Belle Beth Cooper who teaches us that our desires won’t be forgotten. She uses four principles to start small habits that built into big, long-term outcomes.
- Toastmasters, an international organization that helps build the skills needed to become more confident in public speaking, is a valuable resource for the modern professional. Best part? It has easily accessible local chapters.
